Get Something Off My Chest

“I try to be kind, I try to be empathic, well the best person possible and everything just seems to go against me”

Change Becomes You

I bet a lot of you already felt that way and I felt it too. More than one time. You try to be good to others and still they screw you over, play with you, and judge you? You hear people say that you are not the wrong one but it surely seems that way. Like everyone is doing bad things and behaving poorly and you are always the one to get hurt or harmed.

That leads to:

“Life is for the tough ones.” or “Things will get better.”

Well, I say f*ck that and f*ck anyone who says that. Life is not for the tough, life is life and is for everyone! It’s complicated, complex and the way that society is right now is just sad.

The world is programmed in such a way that the ones doing bad things usually are the ones benefiting and you — the nice one — get screwed over. You can defend stop being nice than, well it shouldn’t be that way and saying life comes around that’s fine but I’m living right now not in the future so that’s wrong as well.

This can appear in many ways and forms in your life. Either you like someone and you try your best to help them, make them feel special and be there for them and then at the first difficulty, when you have a problem or just can’t be there for some major reason they just leave you, mistreat you and judge you.
Or, you can just know some guy that is always doing illegal things and keeps going good to him. You see them getting rich, getting high positions — like presidents, you know if you know — and everything seems to go alright, and when you that just parked your car for 5 minutes to go do something you get a ticket…I mean how can this be fair right?

Well, some defend that you need to be smart and when things get bad you need to be patient and everything will sort out just right, others say that if you are not happy you should start doing things in a different way. That just gives even more headache. You come to a spot where you don’t actually know what to do. That moment is when anxiety kicks in and everything seems to be against you. How can you get past this? I don’t know. This is not a story like so many others that promise to bring a solution to your problems. Like the title says this is just me getting something off my chest, something that I know a lot of you can relate to.

You are not alone in the struggle and I’m not saying to stop being nice and start being a bad person, is really just saying out loud to everyone the frustration and the anxiety these things generate can be very unwelcoming and hard to deal so talking with someone or just letting things out can help a lot.
